Berwyn is a tiny farming town of 51 people in central Nebraska's Custer County, reached via Highway 2 about 20 miles northeast of Broken Bow. The area serves local agricultural operations with corn and cattle ranches. Broken Bow Municipal Airport is 20 miles southwest for general aviation. The town's 1902 one-room schoolhouse remains a local landmark from Nebraska's frontier days.
