Berry is a small town of about 1,000 people in northwestern Alabama's Fayette County. Located along State Route 13, it's about an hour from Birmingham via Interstate 22 and Highway 278. The area features rolling hills and mixed forests typical of Alabama's Appalachian foothills. Berry preserves a restored 1920s one-room schoolhouse that now functions as a community center.
