Berlin is a small Alabama town of 900 people in Cullman County, reached via State Route 69 from Interstate 65. Most locals commute 15 miles south to Cullman or make longer trips to Huntsville and Birmingham. The old Berlin Cemetery preserves German headstones from the 1800s settlers who gave the town its name.
