Bend is a high-desert mountain town in central Oregon, sitting at 3,600 feet with 300+ sunny days a year. Take Highway 97 north-south as the main route, or Highway 26 west to Portland (162 miles) through scenic Mount Hood country. The city has become a major outdoor recreation hub with excellent EV charging infrastructure. Bend claims more breweries per capita than anywhere else in Oregon, with over 30 craft breweries packed into the city limits.
