Belville is a small riverfront town along the Cape Fear River, about 15 miles north of Wilmington via US Highway 17. The main route through town is US 17, which connects south to Wilmington and north toward Myrtle Beach. State Route 133 provides access to western Brunswick County and Interstate 40 for longer trips. The town maintains its own fishing pier on the Cape Fear River where you can fish without a saltwater license.
