Belton is a small city of 4,500 in northwestern South Carolina's Anderson County, accessible via I-85 Exit 35. Highway 76 connects it to Anderson 15 miles north, while longer drives come from Greenville (35 miles) and Atlanta (120 miles). The restored 1909 Belton Depot downtown now serves as a community center and railroad museum.
