Bellechester is a tiny farming town in southeastern Minnesota, about 50 miles from Minneapolis-St. Paul. Take Highway 52 south to Cannon Falls, then Highway 19 west to reach this community of 227 people. The town sits among rolling agricultural land typical of Goodhue County, with corn and soybean fields stretching in all directions. Its 1920s grain elevator still stands as a prominent landmark along the former railroad grade.
