Belle Isle is a small Orlando-area city in Orange County, bordered by Lake Conway and connected to downtown Orlando via Orange Avenue (SR 15) about 8 miles north. I-4 runs just west of the city with convenient access through multiple interchanges, while the Central Florida GreeneWay provides a direct route to Orlando International Airport 12 miles southeast. The city hall operates from a converted 1950s schoolhouse that still has its original bell tower chiming hourly.
