Belk sits in north-central Alabama's rolling hills, about 60 miles from Birmingham via I-65 north to I-22 west, then local roads including Highway 18. From Tuscaloosa, take Route 69 north for about 50 miles. This small Fayette County community of under 300 residents has operated the same post office building since 1891.
