Bel Air, Maryland's Harford County seat, sits 25 miles northeast of Baltimore along Route 24. Most visitors exit I-95 and head north on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway, while locals use Route 1 and Route 147 for daily commutes. The rolling hills between Baltimore and Pennsylvania create a mild climate perfect for the area's suburban communities. The 1858 courthouse on Main Street still houses the original bronze bell that gave the town its name.
