This tiny Arkansas farming community of 44 people sits along Highway 17 in Jackson County's rice country. Most visitors arrive via Highway 17 from Newport (15 miles north) or connect from I-40 about 30 miles south. The town lies in the Grand Prairie region, famous for some of Arkansas's most productive rice farming on ancient riverbed soils.
