Beech Grove is a small city completely surrounded by Indianapolis in central Indiana. Take I-465 to Exit 52 for direct access via Emerson Avenue, or use State Road 67 through the area. It's about 20 miles from Indianapolis International Airport and under 15 miles from downtown Indianapolis for daily commuters. The city is home to Amtrak's major train maintenance facility, where passenger cars from across the eastern U.S. come for overhauls.
