Bedias is a small East Texas town of about 500 people in Grimes County, roughly 75 miles northwest of Houston. Take I-45 north to Huntsville, then Highway 30 west for the most direct route. The town sits along historic Bedias Creek in rolling pine country, named after a Bidai Indian word meaning "brushy creek."
