Beaverville is a tiny farming community in east-central Illinois, about 15 miles southeast of Kankakee via Routes 17 and 1. With under 300 residents, it sits amid endless corn and soybean fields on the flat prairie. The town grew around an old railroad depot and still bears the name of nearby Beaver Creek.
