This tiny Ohio village of 400 people sits 15 miles southwest of Lima along State Route 235, surrounded by flat farmland typical of northwestern Ohio. Most visitors arrive via I-75 through Lima, whether coming from Columbus (90 miles southeast) or Toledo (80 miles northeast). The area experiences continental weather with snowy winters and humid summers across the Great Lakes Plains. Beaverdam preserves one of Ohio's last operating one-room schoolhouse museums.
