Beaver is a small Utah city along I-15 between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, serving as both a traveler rest stop and county seat. The town sits at 5,900 feet in high desert country with the Tushar Mountains nearby. Highway 21 branches east from here toward Fishlake National Forest. The 1882 red brick courthouse remains the centerpiece of this community of 3,700 residents.
