Beauregard, MS

Beauregard is a small rural community in central Mississippi, about 40 miles southwest of Jackson via I-55 and Highway 28. With just over 400 residents, it sits in rolling farmland and timber country typical of the region. Most visitors arrive from Jackson or Hazlehurst, following Highway 28 west from the interstate. The town is named after Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard.
