Beasley is a small farming town about 45 miles southwest of Houston, reached via US 59 and State Highway 36. The community of roughly 1,000 residents sits amid rice fields and cattle ranches on the flat coastal prairie. Most traffic uses Highway 36 for local trips to nearby Rosenberg and Richmond, while longer journeys connect through US 59. The town hosts an annual Harvest Festival each October featuring traditional rice farming demonstrations.
