Beaconsfield is one of Iowa's tiniest incorporated cities with just eight residents, located in Ringgold County near the Missouri border. Reach it via US 169 south from Creston (15 miles) or Highway 34 west from I-35 if coming from Des Moines. The town maintains its official municipal status despite being surrounded by nothing but farmland and having a population smaller than most families.
