Beach City is a small Stark County community of 738 people located along scenic State Route 212 between Canton and New Philadelphia. The main access is via Route 212, which connects to Interstate 77 about 15 miles east near Dover, making it a popular scenic alternative for travelers avoiding the interstate. The town sits in rolling farmland near the Tuscarawas River valley and was named after early settler William Beach, who ran a stagecoach stop here in the 1850s.
