Bay is a small farming town in northeastern Arkansas, about 12 miles west of Jonesboro via Highway 18. The area sits in flat agricultural country known for rice, cotton, and soybeans. Most visitors arrive through Jonesboro Municipal Airport, then take Highway 18 west through the rural landscape. During growing season, the flooded rice fields create temporary wetlands that draw thousands of migrating ducks and geese each fall.
