Battle Ground is a small Indiana town of about 2,000 people, located 15 miles northeast of Lafayette via State Road 225. The main access route runs east-west through agricultural country, connecting to Interstate 65 through Lafayette. It's named for the nearby Tippecanoe Battlefield, where William Henry Harrison fought Tecumseh's forces in 1811.
