Bartlett is a planned suburb 40 miles west of Chicago, accessible via I-90 exits at Bartlett Road and Lake Street. Route 59 connects it north-south to Schaumburg and Aurora, while Bartlett Road links neighboring communities like Streamwood. The village grew from farmland in the 1970s-80s into tree-lined residential neighborhoods. Bartlett Hills Golf Club hosted PGA Tour qualifying events on its championship course.
