Barstow is a desert crossroads city where I-15 and I-40 meet in San Bernardino County. It's a key stop between LA and Vegas on I-15, or for cross-country travelers on I-40. The railroad museum in the old Harvey House depot showcases vintage trains from when Barstow was a major rail junction splitting toward LA and San Francisco.
