Barnum is a small Minnesota city of 500 people along Highway 210 in Carlton County. It's about 45 miles southwest of Duluth and connects to I-35 via Highway 73 through Moose Lake. The town developed as a railroad and logging community in the early 1900s and was named after circus showman P.T. Barnum.
