united states

Barnsdall is a small Oklahoma town of about 900 people in Osage County, accessible via US Highway 11 from Pawhuska (15 miles west) or Bartlesville and Tulsa to the southeast. The flat prairie setting and continental climate make for straightforward driving year-round, though EV drivers should plan charging stops in larger nearby cities. The town was named after oil pioneer Theodore Barnsdall, whose company struck some of the area's first successful wells in the early 1900s.
