Barkeyville is a small Pennsylvania borough of 217 people in Venango County, about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. Take I-79 to Grove City, then Route 8 northeast for 20 miles through rolling farmland and forests. The town sits along Route 8's north-south corridor connecting Grove City to Franklin and Oil City. A historic one-room schoolhouse from the 1800s still stands in town.
