This tiny Illinois farming community of about 200 people sits along Route 9 in McDonough County, roughly 10 miles southwest of Macomb. The village is easily reached via Route 9, which connects to US Route 67 for longer trips, with Interstate 74 about 30 miles north providing access from major cities. The restored 1920s grain elevator remains the town's most recognizable landmark, towering over the surrounding cornfields.
