Baneberry is a small Tennessee community of 700 people in Jefferson County, about 45 minutes northeast of Knoxville via I-81. Take Exit 8 to Highway 11E to reach town, with Morristown Regional Airport just 10 miles south. The town gets its name from the white baneberry plants that grow wild in the surrounding Appalachian foothills.
