Bancroft is a tiny farming town of 250 people in southeastern Idaho, about 30 miles northeast of Soda Springs on US Highway 34. Visitors typically drive from Pocatello via Interstate 86 and US 30, then north on US 34. The town sits in wheat country at 5,400 feet elevation with mountain views all around. Its 1896 one-room schoolhouse still hosts community events today.
