Baltic is a small Ohio village of 840 people in Tuscarawas County, accessible via State Route 39 from Interstate 77. It's part of Ohio's Amish Country, drawing day-trippers from Dover and New Philadelphia on scenic rural roads, plus longer visits from Columbus and Cleveland. The rolling hills offer beautiful fall colors but challenging winter driving. Baltic still operates one of Ohio's few active one-room Amish schoolhouses.
