Baldwyn is a small city of about 3,100 people in northeastern Mississippi, 15 miles southeast of Tupelo via Highway 145. Most visitors come from Tupelo or connect through US Highway 78, which links Memphis and Birmingham. The town sits in gently rolling countryside typical of the Tennessee River valley region. Baldwyn hosts an annual Blooming Fest celebrating the spring dogwood and redbud display that transforms its residential streets into a tunnel of pink and white flowers.
