Baldwin is the county seat of Lake County, positioned along US-10 about 60 miles northwest of Grand Rapids. The highway provides easy access from the state's second-largest city, while M-37 connects north to resort areas and south to White Cloud. Dense forests and small lakes surround this community of 1,300 residents. Every spring, thousands of motorcyclists gather here for the famous Blessing of the Bikes ceremony at the Shrine of the Pines.
