Baldwin is a tiny farming town in eastern Iowa, about 25 miles from both Dubuque and the Quad Cities. US Highway 61 runs right through it, making it a quick stop between larger cities. The surrounding countryside features the rolling hills and agricultural fields typical of eastern Iowa. The town's historic one-room schoolhouse from 1874 still stands as a piece of local pioneer history.
