Baker is a small city just north of Baton Rouge, easily reached via Interstate 110 from the state capital. The town sits along US Highway 61 and connects to nearby Zachary via State Route 19. Most out-of-town visitors use I-110 from I-10 or I-12, while locals commute daily on Plank Road and Groom Road. Baker is home to the original Lea's Lunchroom, serving traditional Louisiana comfort food since 1928.
