Bailey Lakes is a tiny rural community in Ashland County, about 15 miles northeast of Mansfield via State Route 97. With just over 300 residents, it sits among the rolling farmland of north-central Ohio. Most visitors arrive from Cleveland (via I-71 south to Route 13) or Columbus (I-71 north), both about an hour's drive. The community gets its name from several small glacial ponds scattered throughout the area.
