Bagley is a small county seat in north-central Minnesota's lake country, home to about 1,250 people. Highway 2 runs east-west through town, connecting to Bemidji (25 miles west) and Grand Rapids (45 miles southeast), while Highway 92 heads north-south to Park Rapids. The city hosts an annual Lumberjack Days festival featuring chainsaw carving and log rolling competitions.
