Badger Lee is a tiny Oklahoma community of 28 people tucked into the wooded hills near the Arkansas border. Reach it via Highway 9 from Fort Smith (15 miles) or local roads from Sallisaw (20 miles). The remote location means limited services and no EV charging nearby. The settlement gets its name from Badger Creek, once home to badgers that no longer inhabit this part of Oklahoma.
