Avonmore is a small Pennsylvania borough of about 1,000 people located 30 miles east of Pittsburgh in the Kiskiminetas River valley. Take US Route 22 east from Pittsburgh to Route 981 north, then Route 56 east into town. The area retains visible traces of its Pennsylvania Railroad heritage along the riverfront.
