Auxvasse is a farming town of about 1,450 people in central Missouri, 30 miles northeast of Columbia via Highway 54. The area features rolling agricultural land typical of Missouri's heartland. Most traffic comes from Columbia and nearby communities like Fulton, with Interstate 70 providing regional access about 20 miles south. The town hosts an annual Homecoming Festival each September that's been running since 1977.
