Aurora is a small farming town in central Utah's Sevier Valley, reached via Highway 89 from I-70 at Salina. The unincorporated community sits at 5,200 feet between the Wasatch Plateau and Pavant Range. Most traffic uses Highway 89 for connections to Richfield (25 miles south) or Salina (15 miles north). The town's 1901 limestone schoolhouse remains a prominent landmark along the main road.
