Aurora is a tiny farming town on Highway 99E, halfway between Portland and Salem in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Most people pass through on the scenic route along 99E or stop at the Aurora State Airport. The Old Aurora Colony Museum showcases the 1850s religious commune that founded the town and created its orderly street grid.
