Augusta is a small Michigan city of 776 people located between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek along Interstate 94. Exit 85 connects to the main downtown area via West XY Avenue, while M-96 runs through town. The Kalamazoo River flows nearby, and Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport is 12 miles southwest. Augusta is home to the historic Kellogg Experimental Forest, a sustainable forestry demonstration site established by the cereal company founder in 1931.
