Attica is a small Indiana city along the Wabash River, about 75 miles northwest of Indianapolis near the Illinois border. US Highway 41 runs north-south through town, connecting to Interstate 74 for longer trips, while State Road 28 heads east to Lafayette and west toward Illinois. The area features rolling farmland typical of west-central Indiana, with hot summers and cold winters. The city's historic covered bridge remains one of the few 19th-century wooden spans still carrying vehicle traffic in the region.
