Atmore is a small city near the Florida border in south Alabama's pine country. Highway 21 runs right through town, connecting to Mobile 60 miles northeast and continuing south into Florida. Most visitors drive up from Pensacola or down from Mobile through rolling timber forests. The town is home to Wind Creek Casino, one of Alabama's biggest gaming destinations.
