Atlanta is a tiny farming town of 133 people in south-central Nebraska's Phelps County. Access it via US 183 (8 miles east) connecting to Holdrege or through local county roads from State Highway 23. The nearest interstate is I-80, about 35 miles north. Brewster Field provides general aviation access nearby. The town's historic one-room schoolhouse still stands from its 1880s settlement era.
