Atlanta is a tiny Kansas farming town of about 170 people along US Highway 160, roughly 45 miles southeast of Wichita. The main route in is US 160 from Winfield (12 miles east) or via I-35 south from Wichita to the Winfield exit. Its towering grain elevator dominates the flat prairie horizon for miles around.
