Atalissa is a small farming town in eastern Iowa's Muscatine County, reached via Highway 70 from Interstate 80. Most visitors take Exit 254 off I-80 and follow Highway 70 directly into town. The community sits in Iowa's gently rolling prairie country and experiences typical Midwest continental weather. The restored 1876 railroad depot now serves as a community center and hosts the annual Depot Days festival.
