Ashville is a small Alabama city of 2,500 people located about 35 miles northeast of Birmingham via I-20 and US 411. The town sits in St. Clair County's rolling hills where the Appalachians begin, connected by US 411 running north-south and State Route 23. Northeast Alabama Regional Airport is 15 miles away. The courthouse square hosts an annual peach festival celebrating the area's famous St. Clair County Peaches.
