Ashley is a small farming village in central Michigan's Gratiot County, reached mainly via M-57. Most traffic involves local trips to Mount Pleasant (20 miles) or Alma (15 miles) for shopping and services. The working grain elevator by the railroad tracks remains the town's most recognizable landmark.
